Winners of the James Smith Award for 2004
The winner of the Award for Summer 2004 was:
- Jon Fox, Supplies Assistant, Plymouth NHS Trust
- Project: 'The benefits of wireless networking in materials management'
The second prize was awarded to:
- Kathryn Sawyers, Supplies Management Trainee, North Wales Supplies Consortium
- Project: 'Unifying the contracting process within the North Wales Supplies Consortium'
The third prize winner was:
- Michael King, Assistant Buyer, CSA Regional Supplies Service, Northern Ireland
- Project: 'The problems faced in the procurement of computer consumables'
The winner was presented with a certificate and cheque for £100 and will be invited as a guest to the Annual Conference in November 2005.
The second and third prize winners each received certificates and cheques for £75 and £50 respectively.
