Winners of the James Smith Award for 2006
The winner of the Award for Summer 2005 was:
- Neil Routledge, Portsmouth NHS Trust
- Project: 'An investigation into the benefits and steps of reducing non-compliant expenditure in the Portsmouth Health Authority'
Joint second prize winners were:
- Alison Barnes, NHS Logistics Authority, Alfreton
- Project: 'Product match tracker'
- Alan Lamplough, West Suffolk Hospitals NHS Trust
- Project: 'Confidential data shredding'
Joint third prize winners were:
- Tommy Murphy, NHS Logistics Authority, Runcorn
- Project: 'Lost time'
- Matthew Lyne, King's College Hospital NHS Trust
- Project: 'How can King's College Hospital better support small/medium-sized businesses without compromising public procurement roles?'
The winner was presented with a certificate and cheque for £100 and was invited as a guest to the Annual Conference in November 2006.
The joint second and joint third prize winners each received certificates and cheques for £75 and £50 respectively.
